20th Century

Juronics Tamás, in his latest production was influenced by the huge social events and dramatic turning points of the 20th century. The end of history, the revolt of the masses, the satanic verses, the Twin Towers. Wars, arms, globalisation, exodus, immigration, vast pools of information, quantum physics, digital technology, genetic modifying, it doesn't end here. It is an era, where everything is its own antagonist.
The relation between individual and society has changed radically since the beginning of the century. Today the individual has a voice. No. Actually the individual does not have a voice, because it cannot be any other way. We, individuals, are transforming the present differently, we set off with a different heritage than our forefathers and we see the world differentely. Now the choreographer's stage becomes interactive, continuous communication between dancers and the means of media communication become the focus. One moves, the other reacts and vice versa. Correlation and its projection. Exciting effects are the imagery of a tumultuous 20th century. All this is accompanied by works of the era's famous composers.
